Yogyakarta, 13 February 2026 — The Department of Archaeology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, organized a workshop entitled “Photogrammetric Survey in Archaeology” from 11 to 13 February 2026 at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada. The workshop was conducted as part of the department’s effort to strengthen digital-based documentation skills in archaeological studies. The event was attended by undergraduate (S1) and graduate (S2) students of Archaeology. Over the course of three days, participants received both theoretical and practical training on photogrammetric survey techniques and their application in the digital documentation and modeling of archaeological objects.

The workshop was guided by Dr. Angela Bosco from the University of Naples L’Orientale, who provided technical instruction as well as conceptual insights into the use of photogrammetry in archaeological research. Through this activity, students are expected to enhance their methodological competencies and readiness in responding to the growing integration of digital technologies in archaeological documentation.
