Technical Guidelines for the 2026 Undergraduate Archaeology Proposal Seminar Batch 3 Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM

This announcement is addressed to students of the Undergraduate Archaeology Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, who have submitted the required documents and thesis proposal for the 2026 Undergraduate Thesis Proposal Seminar (Batch 3).

Seminar Guidelines

  • The Undergraduate Thesis Proposal Seminar (Batch 3) will be held on Wednesday, 16 September 2026.
  • Each seminar session will be attended by a faculty reviewer and one technical staff member.
  • Each student is required to find 2 (two) student reviewers to provide evaluations and suggestions on the thesis proposal being presented.
  • Each student reviewer may represent only one seminar participant.
  • Participants and student reviewers are expected to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled session.
  • Each participant will be given 10 minutes for the presentation and 30 minutes for the discussion session.
  • During the discussion session, participants are required to take note of comments and suggestions provided by the reviewers.
  • Students who are not presenting a proposal are welcome to attend the seminar, provided that they maintain a conducive academic atmosphere. They may ask questions in accordance with the reviewer guidelines established for each class during each session.
  • Participants are required to upload their presentation slides in PDF format no later than Tuesday, 15 September 2026, at 18.00 WIB (UTC+7) through the following link:
