Yogyakarta, January 2, 2026
Who would have thought that the journey of an alumnus of the Master’s Program in Archaeology at Universitas Gadjah Mada in the field of culture would lead to international recognition? Ery Sustiadi, M.A., a 2010 alumnus and the current Head of Museum Sonobudoyo, was awarded the Almusalla Prize by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation in Saudi Arabia in 2025.

This achievement reflects his long-standing dedication and contribution to the preservation and development of cultural heritage. Congratulations on this remarkable accomplishment, and best wishes for continued success in advancing culture and archaeology on both national and international stages.
