Here’s the English translation of the provided text about Nunuk Dwi Hastuti Setyawati:

Nunuk Dwi Hastuti Setyawati is an alumna of the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Letters, UGM (now the Archaeology Study Program, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UGM). Born in Surakarta 58 years ago, she completed her primary and secondary education in Surabaya before entering the Archaeology Study Program, Faculty of Letters, UGM through the PMDK (Direct Admission) pathway in the 1986/1987 academic year, graduating in 1994.

During her student years, Nunuk was active in various student activities, both in the Archaeology Student Association (HIMA) and the Faculty of Letters UGM nature lovers group, “Kapalasastra.”

After completing her bachelor’s degree, Nunuk began working as a civil servant in 1997 at the DIY Provincial Education Office and then the Yogyakarta City Government. In 2007, she was appointed as an archivist, coinciding with receiving a scholarship from the Planning and International Cooperation Bureau of the Ministry of National Education for postgraduate studies at the Master of Accountancy UGM, Public Sector Concentration. She completed this advanced education in 2009.

As an archivist, Nunuk, who enjoys cooking and gardening, began her career in the position of Skilled Senior Archiving Officer, then successively became a Supervising Archivist, Junior Expert Archivist, and finally Mid-level Expert Archivist with rank/grade IV/c. As a professional archivist, in 2015, she won 1st place in the Provincial Model Archivist Competition, subsequently representing DIY and becoming a finalist in the National Model Archivist Competition.

Not forgetting the knowledge gained during her university studies, Nunuk combined archival science, archaeology, and economics in her profession as an archivist. This is evidenced by her works, which to this day have become references for researchers and writers on archiving. Several of her writings were published in Ayodya Magazine (Yogyakarta City Communication and Informatics Office) and Arya Magazine (Yogyakarta City Archives). Her work titled “The Role of Women in Development” won 3rd place in the 2016 Yogyakarta City Dharmawanita Persatuan (Women’s Association) anniversary article writing competition, while “Letter for Father” won 1st place in the 2017 Kartini Day letter writing competition.

Dozens of archival inventory books and static archive lists authored by Nunuk have been published as finding aids for the static archives of the Yogyakarta City Library and Archival Office, serving users, including writings that reconstruct institutional and organizational history based on archives. Some of these publications include “Inventory of Archives of the Office of Archives and Electronic Data Processing Years 2000-2005” (2016), “Inventory of Archives of the City Planning Office of Kodya DATI II Yogyakarta Years 1988-2001” (2019), “Guide to the Archival Collection of the Yogyakarta City Regional Archival Institution” (2022), “Inventory of Archives of the Yogyakarta Municipality General Affairs Office Years 1950-1958” (2023). Between 2007 and 2023, Nunuk also compiled dozens of archiving-related regulations that are still in use today.

Other publications as an archivist include books titled “S.H. Mintardja, Legend of Javanese Martial Arts Stories” (2016), “General Offensive of March 1, 1949, Yogyakarta Guardian of the Republic of Indonesia’s Sovereignty” (2018), “Yogyakarta Timoho City Hall: Existence for Empowerment” (2018), and “Yogyakarta City Regional Secretary from Era to Era 1960-2020” (2020). From 2019 to 2023, she also wrote archive-based books called Archival Source Manuscripts (NSA). Published NSAs include: “Sekaten Ceremony in Yogyakarta” (published 2019, ISBN: 978-602-71883-9-6), “Kotapradja Yogyakarta Years 1950-1965 Post-Physical Revolution” (published 2020, ISBN: 9 786239 530600), and “Two Centuries of Yogyakarta City in Archival Treasures” (published 2022, ISBN: 9 786239 530624).

In 2015, Nunuk prepared the Academic Manuscript for the Regional Regulation on Archiving Management, which was ultimately approved by the Yogyakarta City Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) to become Regional Regulation No. 3/2017 on Archiving Management.

Another activity as an archivist is professional development. In this field, Nunuk is active as a speaker in regional and national archiving forums and serves as a tutor for the D-4 Information Systems and Archiving Program at Universitas Terbuka.

Her love for the world of archives has led her, along with her team, to make the Yogyakarta City Government the best national-level archiving institution from 2013-2023. Then, by collaborating with academics from the Faculty of Cultural Sciences UGM, Faculty of Engineering UGM, DPAD DIY, and Pura Pakualaman, in 2025, the institution achieved recognition with the declaration of Yogyakarta City Government archives concerning the Kotabaru Area from 1916-2023 and the 1959 Colombo Plan Conference as National Collective Memory. This designation was awarded by ANRI (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia) on May 22, 2025, coinciding with the 54th National Archiving Day in Jakarta.
